Donald Trump: From Billionaire To Apprentice
"The Donald" as he is popularly recognized, is famous for many things-- namely his trademark hairstyle and his riches. Donald Trump's extravagant lifestyle and history of marrying beautiful women has made him enviable to the common man. But what if the tables were turned, and he was an everyday citizen admiring those who made it big around him? What if his path in life eventually led him to be an apprentice, working as a sidekick for a pastry chef? Donald Trump learns to live with taking orders and pleasing his wife, as he works long shifts for a thankless boss. What will he do when betrayal rears its head in his simple life? With meager earnings, he must overcome his trials on his own.
Dreading the day he will ever hear the words, "you're fired," Donald Trump does his best to please the pastry chef he works for. Getting up in the twilight hours to leave for work, he gently kisses his wife goodbye without disturbing her sleep. He works extended hours daily performing backbreaking manual labor as an apprentice to an up-and-coming pastry guru. Seldom does his boss praise his work or even share an appreciative "thank you," yet Donald Trump smiles and does his best to put his boss on a pedestal. After all, his heartless boss promised him recognition for any creation Donald Trump might come up with. And one day, following weeks of experimenting after work, he finally creates a new, innovative pastry presentation that knocks his boss' socks off. His hard work will finally have merit, bring him recognition, and extra money-- or so he thinks!
When the conniving pastry chef signs a deal that doesn't include Donald Trump with any credit for his own creation, he is served his first dose of betrayal. Steaming with rage, he confronts his boss and gives him a piece of his mind. And to this, he finally hears the words he feared: "you're fired!" Powerless to do anything more for the injustice, Donald Trump simply hangs his head and walks out of the pastry kitchen. He heads home to be consoled by the one person who will stand by his side-- his wife. Little does he know that she has another surprise for him.
Just as he is about to tell his wife about the huge backstabbing by his boss, she presents herself from the bedroom holding a suitcase. Confused by the sight, Donald Trump asks her if she is planning a vacation, knowing that they have a limited budget. From out of the blue, she tells him that she can no longer stay in the marriage because he can't fulfill the lifestyle she feels entitled to. Donald Trump is speechless, heartbroken, and basically broke, now that he is out of work. How will he afford to pay for a divorce lawyer with no money set aside? He is crushed, and silently allows his wife to leave their home.
But Donald Trump isn't ready to give up without a fight. He decides that he will do whatever it takes to convince his wife to stay with him. She is the love of his life, and the one person who was by his side during the most difficult times. He knows that if he could just remind her of all the obstacles they've lived through, she would choose to come back and stay with him-- but how will he get her to listen? He must use every bit of skill in his being to win her back. Will he succeed?
